The month began with lots of cheers as DQ began walking over the Memorial Day weekend and has been picking up the pace and getting better every day since then, with lots of practice with aunties, uncles and cousins.
We finished up the MusicTogether spring sessions and enjoyed all our new friends going to MyGym and our playgroups.
We also spent more time at Gramma's and DQ is now having a ball there! So much that she doesn't even look for me anymore when I'm out doing an errand. Gramma has become her favorite, which is fabulous progress!
We went to the Oregon Coast to visit friends who also have a daughter from Jiangxi, and had a wonderful time! We got to see past and present Intel friends and colleagues who all fell for DQ's charms too.
We just returned from a week's trip to Long Beach, Newport Beach and San Diego, where we got to see and spend time with so many great friends and have Auntie's Cindy and Alison along to enjoy the trip and help with some of the things I could not do alone along the way... namely keeping DQ occupied during the long drive.
We had so much fun!!
