DQ is making fantastic progress in so many areas! We are really enjoying our time together and finding so many new things and meeting new friends as well as spending time with family and friends too!
Highlights:
New favorite things- Laugh & Learn Puppy, soccer ball, and small bounce balls. Soft Bear and butterfly blankie. Big girl chair and rocking chair. Hugs, loves and cuddles throughout the day!
Now pulling herself up on furniture and wants to walk all day, holding fingers, and running from room to room, trying to decide which toys are the best in the moment. The balance is not quite there yet, but getting very close to fully walking/sprinting.
Music Together and My Gym are a hit along with new playgroups and sweet new friends.
Challenges:
Got a second cold since coming home to include the cough that wakes her up throughout the night; sleeping in own crib is not happening for more than a couple of hours at a time.
Mealtime is a guessing game as to what will be accepted at the moment. Today I thought how great it was that she had eaten nearly all I had given her... well, come to find out at clean up time, she had found a little nook in the tray and had stuffed most of it between the trays. The little stinker! :) but I could not help but laugh and smile.
My biggest stress right now, is looking for the best type of childcare I can find that works for us both! Would she get the type of stimulation she needs with an Au Pair, or is an organized daycare the best??
